It began in a small kitchen in rural Maharashtra, where the scent of freshly ground turmeric and cold-pressed sesame oil was the backdrop of my childhood. I watched my grandmother blend herbs not just for beauty, but for healing, following secrets passed down through seven generations.
As I moved into the modern world, I saw the soul being stripped from skincare. Chemicals replaced craft; mass production replaced meaning. I realized that what the world needed wasn’t another product, but a return to the ritual.
